Hotel Amenity Dispensers: The Future is Here

In the world of hospitality, amenities are an important part of a guest’s experience. On a large scale, amenities are viewed as added benefits for a guest. Common hospitality property amenities include personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, dental kits, and shower caps. New innovations in the hospitality industry are resulting in personal care amenities being transitioned into dispensers. Many hotel amenity suppliers have traditionally offered mini flip cap bottles that hold shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, and body wash. They are still being produced in these bottles, but the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash will now be offered in dispensers as well. Essentially, these amenity dispensers will be placed on a wall where the guests will press on the bottom of the dispenser to get it.

Product Innovation Is Alive & Well In The Hospitality Industry

For me, finding a new product for our customers is always a very exciting happening. Product innovation in the hospitality industry is a constant so when I uncover a truly useful, reasonably-priced, multi-purpose product it feels particularly satisfying.

I recently received a new catalog from one of our suppliers and thought How am I ever going to go thru all these new products and styles!? There were pages and pages to view!

On the one hand, it’s exciting to have companies that are always on the cutting edge, thinking of ways to enhance our properties, better our environment and keep us coming back to purchase their products.

On the other hand, there are just so many hours in the day and so many product catalogs to get through.

The catalog in question is one from a company that makes luggage racks and trays. Now this manufacturer has come out with a new product: the Eco Poly Tray/Stand Combo. There is nothing in the marketplace right now quite like it. It is a unique and innovative product!

5 Types of Robes to Keep Your Guests Comfortable

For bed and breakfast owners who offer robes in their rooms, it’s not that unusual these days to see guests wearing a robe to breakfast.

That’s how much visitors love these robes. And who can blame them? There’s nothing like a warm, soft bathrobe to take the chill out of a cold morning.

The sight of a guest wearing a robe to breakfast would have been unusual years ago. But that’s not the only thing that’s different. The types of robes offered to guests at beds and breakfasts, spas and resorts have changed as well.

It used to be that terrycloth robes were the most common types of robe in the market, with velour showing up more often in higher-end catalogs and hotels.

But over the years, robe manufacturers have come up with many different kinds of robes, with different fabrics, styling, colors and sizing and weights. Here’s a look at five of the most popular robe varieties.

Treat Your Guests like Royalty With Luxury Towels

Your guests notice the little things that make them feel comforted and “regal” at your bed and breakfast. These little things add up to the biggest thing of all – your reputation!

There’s nothing more capable of impressing your guests than luxurious than high-quality terry cloth towels through InnStyle.

Terry Cloth Towels from InnStyle — MicroCotton® Hotel Collection Towels

How lavish it feels to wrap ones self in a soft, absorbent fluffy bath towel right after a long, hot soak or shower. But not all towels are created equal. Here’s how to find the right one for you.

Terry cloth is a fabric with uncut loops, or pile, deliberately standing away from its ground base. Terry cloth is woven using two warp beams: the ground warp, which forms the base of the towel, and the pile warp, which creates the loops of thread that give the fabric its texture and function. These loops effectively increase the surface area of the fabric, enhancing its absorbency, while maintaining a soft feel.

Terry cloth is traditionally made from cotton, but it can also be made from different materials such as silk, linen or other natural and artificial fibers. Most manufacturers choose cotton because, unlike other materials that get weaker in water, cotton’s absorbent fiber gets stronger when wet. In fact, cotton can absorb 20 to 30 times its own weight in water. The loop pile acts as a sponge while withstanding squeezing, pulling, rubbing, twisting and turning.

Because of its absorbency attributes, terry cloth is commonly used for towels, bathrobes, beach cover-ups, athletic warm-ups and headbands. Terry cloth can easily be dyed or printed, as well as decoratively embroidered.

Terry cloth towels from InnStyle combine style, comfort and quality and are sure to make a lasting impression on your guests, making your B & B a crowned head in your industry.

Wrinkle Free Sheets

The InnStyle 600 Thread Count – 100% combed cotton Wrinkle Free Sheets are back. Limited quantities currently available, but we are taking pre-orders for the next shipment.

Here’s what our Innkeepers are saying about these sheets:
We have been using these sheets since 2008. They have been fantastic, our laundry service, housekeeping, and of course our guests have commented on how nice the sheets are, and where they could buy them. We were very distressed in 2010 when they were discontinued and bought up whatever inventory you had back then.

At that time I thought there are a lot of “Sateen Sheets” that said they were wrinkle resistant I had seen from retailers. The problem with retailers is getting the quantity needed, with each store only carrying a few sets of sheets, but I had to try. I started buying sets of these sheets and taking them home to wash. None of the so called “wrinkle resistant” sheets where in fact wrinkle resistant. If the fabric didn’t show wrinkles the stitching all puckered up in one washing! The quality of every set I tried was very poor. It didn’t matter where I bought them, what the thread count was (400, 500, 600, or 1000!), the stitching puckered or the sheets wrinkled on one washing. The other noticeable difference was how thin all the other sheets were, and again the thread count did not matter, all were very thin.

The Inn Style Wrinkle Resistant sheets always had a nice sturdy weight, never puckered, and kept there sheen. That weight contributes to the quality, wrinkle resistance, and makes these sheets unique among all I have tried. .

I was very happy to see the return of this item. We received a sample pillowcase last week, washed it, then washed it again, ran it through the dryer each time. Each time it came out beautifully. Finally we have our sheets back!!

Why Cotton Sheets?

There is nothing like slipping between cotton sheets. That is because nature has designed the perfect fiber for softness and comfort. The superior characteristics of cotton have been praised for thousands of years, and today cotton is synonymous with quality, comfort and beauty.

Softness – The unique shape and dimensions of cotton fibers naturally
InnStyle 600 Wrinkle Free Sheets
result in softness.
Year Round Comfort – Cotton bed linens keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Launders Beautifully – Cotton releases soil easily so bed linens are clean and smell fresh throughout their wear life, and cotton sheets become even softer through washings and use.

The most popular sheet offered at InnStyle is their InnStyle 600 Wrinkle Free Sheets. They get such positive reviews because they have the comfort and softness of cotton sheets without the need for constant ironing because they don’t wrinkle like all the other cotton sheets.
