For me, finding a new product for our customers is always a very exciting happening. Product innovation in the hospitality industry is a constant so when I uncover a truly useful, reasonably-priced, multi-purpose product it feels particularly satisfying.
I recently received a new catalog from one of our suppliers and thought How am I ever going to go thru all these new products and styles!? There were pages and pages to view!
On the one hand, it’s exciting to have companies that are always on the cutting edge, thinking of ways to enhance our properties, better our environment and keep us coming back to purchase their products.
On the other hand, there are just so many hours in the day and so many product catalogs to get through.
The catalog in question is one from a company that makes luggage racks and trays. Now this manufacturer has come out with a new product: the Eco Poly Tray/Stand Combo. There is nothing in the marketplace right now quite like it. It is a unique and innovative product!
The tray/stand combos are made from 100 percent recycled plastic, making them environmentally-conscious. They are fade resistant, and a solid color throughout. You can choose from any number of finishes and customize with the various inserts Eco Poly has to offer.
These pieces require no maintenance or painting. They are put together with marine-grade stainless steel hardware, with removable inserts for easy cleaning. They’re also made in the USA, which – these days – is unique on its own.
There are a few different types of combos. One is a low stand with a tray.
This combo can be used as a luggage rack alone or with a tray as a serving piece. Another has a rectangular tray that sits on top of the stand. The third choice is a high stand with two trays, rectangular on top and square on the bottom.
The beauty of these combo stand/trays is in their versatility. For example, the low stand (without the tray) can be used as a luggage rack. If a guest wants to have a snack or meal in their room, it can be used as a table, with the tray set on top.
The high stand and tray can be used in a guestroom. You could use it to serve drinks or snacks, or place it in a bathroom, to hold extra toilet paper, guest towels or other amenities.
And the stand/tray combo doesn’t need to stay indoors. Use it outside, where the removable tray lets you serve drinks or hors d’oeuvres, or hold plates, glassware, utensils, etc. Using these combo tray/stands around the pool or on the patio is yet another opportunity.
The trays themselves can also be purchased separately in case you want to pick up some extras to use for other purposes.
